■ Text messages [SMS] [network service]
Using the SMS [short message service], your device can send and receive multipart
messages, which consist of several ordinary text messages. Invoicing may be
based on the number of ordinary messages that are required for a multipart
message.
Before you can send a message, you need to save some message settings. See
”Settings for text and e-mail messages” on page 59.
You can also send and receive text messages that contain pictures. A picture
message can be a multipart message.

Note: Picture message function can only be used if it is supported by your
network operator or service provider. Only devices that offer picture
message features can receive and display picture messages.
